Exceptional Wines > Cuvée Théo, Cuvée Sainte Catherine and Cuvée Laurence

Not only do we give a name to our soils, but also to our "cuvées": they are named after members of the family.

Theo rests in the middle of the Clos du Capucin and Weinbach vines that he cherished so much. Therefor the Riesling and Gewurtztraminer that grow there bear his name.

The Cuvée Sainte Catherine consecrated, before the success of "grands crus" in Alsace, the richest Riesling vintages. The grapes were picked late (some time around the 25th of November, day of Sainte Catherine) so that they could enjoy the late autumn sun. The richest Schlossberg vintage is naturally called "Schlossberg Cuvée Sainte Catherine".

Catherine had her vintage… Cuvée Laurence was born next. It is made from the most concentrated Gewurztraminer vineyards, born from the Furstentum vintage, from the Altenbourg locality or from the lowest part of this hill.
